Birding in the Rain

 Today was one of those days when plans go astray.

Rain, and plenty of it, both morning and afternoon curtailed any afternoon birding.

Much of the morning we hid in a hide and managed to get good views of the following species;

Scaly Thrush, Horsefield's Babbler, Javan Whistling Thrush, Snowy-browed Flycatcher, Lesser Shortwing, Red Junglefowl,

Near the car park we got Sunda Warbler, Javan Bulbul, Sunda Minivet, Sunda Cuckooshrike.

The main target, an east Javan endemic, White faced Partridge, was heard only.
